Model Farm is a Large Victorian frontage built onto a 17th century farm house. A farm house on this site was described in the domesday book in the 11th century.

Model Farm is a country house, offering spacious self catering accommodation for 6 to 8 people in Somerset UK.

The house consists of an imposing Victorian front addition to a 17th century farmhouse. The self catering apartment consists of the south facing Victorian building which retains most of the original features such as, high moulded ceilings, marble fireplaces and wooden floors. The Period furniture matches the Victorian features although a modern kitchen has been added. Ample parking is available.

Model Farm is a victorian country house, offering self catering accommodation with a warm and friendly atmosphere, Nr Bridgwater, Bridgewater, Glastonbury, Taunton. Relax in the formal gardens or in our small meadow and take in the rural vista. The energetic visitor can walk the Parrett Trail, the coastal path into North Devon and Exmoor or over the Quantock hills with the beautiful views. Stroll through the many gardens open to the public, Hestercombe, Cothay and Barrington to name a few.

Canninton, a pleasent walk through woods, medows and beside Canninton brook. About a half hour stroll from Model Farm

Whilst in a rural setting Model Farm is only 8 minutes from the centre of Bridgwater, close to the coast, Quantock Hills, and the towns of Taunton, Glastonbury and Wells. There are many footpaths in the area that can be accessed from the farm, the Parrot Way passes nearby and the village of Cannington with its Church, walled garden, shops and pubs is a short walk away.

Stroll through the many gardens open to the public, Hestercombe,

Cothay and Barrington to name a few.

Those with an interest in history have plenty of museums to visit including, King John's Hunting Lodge, Taunton Castle, and Admiral Blake's Museum, Visit the caves at Cheddar Gorge or Wookey Hole. The bird life on the levels is renowned, as are the potters and basket weavers. A visit to Somerset would not be complete without tasting the local wines and ciders

How to find us

From M5 (J23 or J24) follow A38 into Bridgwater.
Follow sign A39 Minehead ( ignore first sign to Wembdon).
After leaving Bridgwater continue for approximately 1 mile, pass the Pace Garage on the right.
Go down the hill and at the double bend turn right sign posted Wembdon.
Turn immediately left sign posted Perry Green and Chilton Trinity.
After approximately 3/4 mile you come to a T-junction, follow sign no through road.
Model Farm is the second building on the left.
